Sometimes (okay, most times
) I don’t want to pull out my mop-and-bucket combo to mop my floors; I just want to do a quick job [tag]cleaning up[/tag] all the dried spills to make the kitchen floor more presentable.
I think the Mop Shoe would be perfect for the quick clean ups!
Get out your pre-made spray bottle of cleaner (I prefer a homemade mix of vinegar and water, with a little lavender essential oil added in for a nice scent), spray the spots and scrub it with your Mop Shoe covered foot. Easy peasy!
Unfortunately, the [tag]Mop Shoe[/tag] website has no information, besides the picture you see above, and the price (for two it’s $29.95, plus s/h). I’ve tried placing a call, but they were “not taking calls” at the time.
Well, it is the day after Thanksgiving, so I guess that’s acceptable, but it’s also Black Friday, so I expected they’d be open.
I’m guessing that the shoes are made out of [tag]microfiber[/tag], and can be used wet or dry. I would also assume that they can be tossed in the washing machine, and that it’s one size fits all. I’ll be putting in another phone call to the company and will post an update.
My thought is that you can pull out the mop and bucket for more thorough cleanings. And the kids would enjoy helping clean with these, too!
Heck, if you have [tag]hardwood floors[/tag] throughout the house, why not use these as “house shoes”? No more dust mopping!

Barb- we definitely need some more information here. These look cool. Exercise opportunity
Fun for the kids
Of course, I’m cheap and $30 seems a bit much… oh but the kids…

Meg,
Remember it’s $30 for 2 pairs…. $15 for exercise equipment, or for your kids to clean the floor an unlimited number of times - not bad.
I will post an update as soon as I hear back from the company. I’ve sent them an email and will hopefully hear back from them soon.
By the way, I *did* see another pair for $7 - which you can see here: http://www.brandsonsale.com/job-jb4156.html - they just didn’t look as good (like you can’t use them wet, that they’re not that miracle-material called microfiber, and they don’t look as easily washable). Still, they’d make good house shoes and a fun toy.

I have never heard back from the company, and every time I call I get a reply saying that “the person you are trying to reach is not accepting calls”.
Also, currently on the site, the item - the only product they have - is marked as SOLD OUT.
I will keep checking up on the site and trying to contact the company to see what their future plans are for this product. I sure hope that they’re able to keep it on the market!

You can start doing this straightaway by just wrapping any cleaning cloth around your feet.
